John, Yes, the window is now fixed and back in place. And I am sleeping much better now without that gaping hole in a home that is unattended and 1-1/2 hours away. As it turns out, the Andersen Service Center here is a fairly small operation, and somewhat new to the business (well, at least to my vintage sash). The document that you took the time to FAX was precisely what they needed to understand how to repair my sash. Without that in hand, I suspect I might have been in serious trouble. But they did a good job. I appreciate your taking the time to help me out so quickly. I hope your new staircase is coming along well, and perhaps the temperatures are a little more in your favor. My house has a number of different Andersen windows, including the FlexVent style. I'll be happy to pay for the copy of the Service manual. Woo-hoo! FYI, I'm using the weatherstripping on 1967 'vintage' anderson awning windows, when the weatherstrip was located on the casing (is that the right term for the window framing?) not the sash. I already received the screen roller. What fast service!!! I really blew it when I ordered just one roller and did not get two so that I could replace both rollers. The new one works so well and the other one I can't adjust anymore. ;-( I'm sure I would have saved on shipping by buying 2 at the same time. Any chance that I could get another one at a "reduced" Shipping rate??? Perhaps you have a lower rate available...I don't need it quite so fast. Thanks a lot, Vicky
